Hi, I’m Caley /KAY-lee/ (noun)
A midget-like, chocoholic, slightly obsessive compulsive creative wannabe that spends most of her time scheming ways to get back to Zimbabwe. Journalism, writing and public/media relations are passions of a typical Caley, along with sports, Apple products, taking pictures and ice cream.

I’ve often found myself caught in conversations with someone asking me if I’m left-brained or right-brained. And, while it seems like a cop out, my reply is always the same: I truly believe that I’m middle-brained, if there is such a thing.
I’m relatively organized, but I have to force myself to be. I’m extremely reliant on my calendar, but it’s because I’m not naturally organized enough to keep myself in line. I do not, however, miss deadlines unless it’s a circumstance completely out of my control.
I’m pretty creative, but I have to work at it and find inspiration. My creativity is at its best when I brainstorm a general idea with someone, and my strength comes in taking that idea, improving it and making it a reality.
I find myself, in job interviews or just in general conversation, referring to myself as a “jack of all trades.” I do a little bit of everything, as far as the advertising world is concerned. I can do a little design, a little photography, a lot of writing and I’ll even wash the windows if I need to (but I don’t do diapers). Public relations, however, is my specialty. I do want to continue to expand my versatility in the previously mentioned areas as well (except for the window-washing part. I think I have that under control). I love learning new things.
